In the past, the WTA has purchased banners for championship high school tennis teams. For a while we were doing it practically every year, as the girls won many times, and the boys did almost as well. I think the banners were hung in the high school gym. The girls teams from 1996 to 1999 won every year, and were elected to the Winchester Sports Hall of Fame.
